Keynote speaker – Jayshree Seth

Jayshree Seth is a Corporate Scientist at 3M and also 3M’s first ever Chief Science Advocate. She joined 3M in 1993 after a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University, and currently holds 76 patents. She is the fourth woman and first female engineer to be inducted to the Carlton Society, 3M’s Science and Engineering “Hall of Fame.” In 2020, Jayshree was awarded Society of Women Engineers (SWE) highest Achievement Award, and in 2021 she became the first-ever winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the new Female Thought Leaders of the Year category. Jayshree is the author of two books, The Heart of Science – Engineering Footprints, Fingerprints, & Imprints, and The Heart of Science – Engineering Fine Print published by the SWE, with sales proceeds going to a scholarship for underrepresented minority women in STEM. She was also featured in a 2021 docuseries “Not the Science Type”. Jayshree is a sought-after speaker, globally, on a multitude of topics such as innovation, leadership and STEM advocacy.
