We have every tool in our financial planning tool belt to address and answer the questions and concerns you face. So what makes us different?
Our goal is to help our members make wise decisions, so that they may lead more secure and generous lives. Thrivent Financial is a unique organization that aligns Christian values with the products and services we offer in order to help make stronger families and communities.
We start the conversation by putting you at the center of it. Your goals and values lead the way. Our objective is to provide education and understanding about the different decisions you face. Using a team approach we are able to share our expertise in a number of different areas from accumulation and distributions strategies, to protecting against the unexpected, in managing all of the different risks (not just those that the markets present).

My wife Angi and I have been married for 10 years this October. We have the “Brady Bunch” family with six children – her two and my four. We are empty nesters now with the youngest just turning 20.
My career has been in Information Technology started right out of high school in the U.S. Navy. From there I spent 7 more years in the Federal Courts before jumping out to the “civilian” side. I spent 8 years at GMAC-RFC when I realized my calling was to be a consultant/contractor.
Angi and I dreamed of weddings on our historic property, but never envisioned doing what we’ve done to the Historic John P Furber Farm. I guess when I dream big, I just go for it! Business is great and I hope to share ideas with other business owners in Cottage Grove to include putting them to work on projects at the farm!
