About Us

At the Basic Needs Thrift Shop, shoppers can find affordable, high-quality clothing, household goods, and other gently used items. Every purchase supports the broader mission of Basic Needs Inc. of South Washington County, including food access, emergency assistance, outreach, and coordinated community services.

Through our Emergency Voucher Program, we partner with local organizations and agencies to provide clothing and household essentials to their clients during times of crisis, homelessness, or major life transition. These vouchers help individuals and families access what they need with dignity and without additional financial strain.

Donated goods help keep useful items in circulation while making everyday essentials more affordable. Our work is powered by volunteers and strengthened by shoppers, donors, and community partners.
